Help with use of checkstyle-frames.xsl from ANT script?

Richard_Landon
I have the following snippet in my build file, but I never see any output
show-up. Can someone tell me how to run the transformation of the xml
output to html via the ant style task. In looking over the XSL file, I note
something called the output.dir and etc and attempts to write to disk. I
don't under how the XSL defines this location. Sorry for any stupidity.
Thanks. (Note: checkstyle-frames.xsl is a local copy of the one from the
3.5 checkstyle distribution; output exists;checkstyle-test.xml is the
output of the checkstyle ant task with in the XML format). I see an empty
checkstyle-test.html file in the ./output directory (but no index.html etc
... anywhere).

<target name="test-style" >
    <style includes="./checkstyle-test.xml" destdir="./output"
style="./checkstyle-frames.xsl"/>
 </target>

Here's the code snippet I use to create the html version of the report:
      <xslt in="${stylereport.dir}/style_report.xml"
            out="${stylereport.dir}/style_report.html"
            style="./checkstyle-no-frames.xsl" />

Looking at the Ant docs, it looks like your version is working with a
directory & mine is working with a single file.

RE: Help with use of checkstyle-frames.xsl from ANT script?

Thanks.  The style template you are using is not the "frames" xsl file
checkstyle-frames.xsl and therefore does not attempt to redirect and create
the various files. I believe that is where I am running into problems. I
appreciate the suggestion, however, very much. I tried this and (in your
usage) the style-report.html is an empty file (size=0) and the files
internal to the above xsl (index.html) are not created (or I cannot find
where they are created at, if anywhere).
